Finished in PPG Bolero Red, this 1970 Chevrolet C10 stepside short-bed pickup has undergone a full frame-off restoration, mixing classic body lines with a modern drivetrain and up-to-date features in a Resto-Mod style. Equipped with clear halogen headlights and custom LED taillights, with all trim and emblems shaved including the cowl vents, firewall, bed step treads, marker light, tailgate latches and stake pockets. It also features a custom rear roll pan with a lower pan connecting the rear fenders that were fabricated. The wooden bed floor is painted Bolero Red and trimmed with stainless steel strips. Open the door to find a custom interior done in two-tone gray with red stitching and diamond pattern accents throughout. Features include sound deadening material under the gray carpet, bucket seats, custom door panels, hand-stitched steering wheel and a custom center console with sliding cover revealing stainless steel cup holders, USB outlets and a wireless phone charger. Rounding out the interior is a touchscreen radio, backup camera, power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, tilt wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, power tailgate latches, LED lights and tinted glass. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 4.8-liter LS V8 engine backed by a 4L80 automatic transmission connected to a 12-bolt 3.73 ratio rear end. The engine is cooled by a Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and the exhaust flows through a 2.5-inch dual exhaust tip. The stance and ride come from McGaughy's suspension system with 2.5-inch drop spindles, 2-inch drop springs and a sway bar with power steering in the front. The back rides on 5-inch drop springs and includes an adjustable Panhard bar. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes with Hydro-Boost assist and an adjustable proportion valve. This custom pickup rolls on 20-inch Vision Legend 6 aluminum wheels with 245/45/20 tires on all four corners.
