This 1955 Bel Air has been treated to the full Resto-Mod treatment and is powered by a fuel-injected 502ci Ram Jet V8 engine paired with a 4L85E 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The engine is highlighted by Chevrolet aluminum valve covers and a Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine belt system with a polished climate-control compressor, polished alternator and aluminum pulleys. A chrome radiator support and polished aluminum overflow tanks complete the customization. Underneath all this power is a fully capable chassis that features a durable Ford 9-inch rear axle, 3.73 gears, tubular control arms, power rack & pinion steering and coilover shocks. A stainless steel fuel tank delivers fuel to the Ram Jet powerplant. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. The car rides on Vossen forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes performance tires. The interior is finished in gray leather upholstery with a matching custom headliner. The billet aluminum leather-matched steering wheel is connected to a polished tilt column, and the custom digital gauge cluster keeps an eye on all engine functions.
