Under the chrome twist hood latches of this Shell Valley Classics Model 1967 Shelby Cobra re-creation resides a built Ford 302ci V8 engine mated to a manual transmission. The engine features a Ford aluminum intake manifold, a polished 4-barrel carburetor with an electric choke on top, chrome valve covers, air cleaner and a billet aluminum wire loom kit. Tubular headers feature heat wrap and are connected to the dual chrome side pipe exhaust system. The billet aluminum pulleys and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan complete the high-performance engine compartment. Finished in burgundy, it features a Kevlar-reinforced body and steel box-tubed framework along with race-inspired triangulated rear suspension. The front suspension on this roadster is a tube-type front suspension with coilovers. Features rack & pinion steering and Halibrand-style knock-off wheels with disc brakes. Inside the carpeted cockpit are classic gauges to monitor engine functions, as well as vinyl bucket seats with safety harnesses, a wood-rimmed aluminum sport steering wheel and a Cobra shifter.
