Long Description: This 1969 Corvette competed in the SCCA's GT1 category from the 1970s through the 1990s, running on such diverse tracks as Gateway International Raceway (now known as World Wide Technology Raceway), Blackhawk Farms Raceway and River Cities Speedway in Illinois; Memphis International Raceway in Tennessee and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Georgia. A lift-off cowl hood feeds fresh air to the car's rebuilt 350ci V8 engine backed by a Hurst-shifted Muncie M22 Rock Crusher close-ratio 4-speed transmission. Performance features include an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum air-gap intake, open-element air cleaner with sealed plenum, high-energy ignition, double-vented valve covers, tube headers with side exhaust, remote oil filter and a heavy-duty aluminum radiator. The original frame bears all the proper modifications to strengthen it and provide maximum driver protection, incorporating a certified roll cage, lightweight Kirkey aluminum racing bucket seat with firm bolstering, G-Force safety harness, racing fuel cell and fire-suppression system. The interior aluminum paneling is designed to provide easy access to mechanicals and keeps all switches and driver controls — including the requisite Auto Meter gauges and tach, extinguisher button and electrical cut-off switch — close at hand. Refinished in bright yellow paint and new decals on mid-'80s body panels, it also features wide rear flares and Greenwood-style front pontoon fenders necessary to cover the car's new extra-wide American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Hoosier racing tires. The suspension system has 4-wheel coilovers, and 4-wheel disc brakes with scoop-fed cooling ducts impart racing-grade stopping power. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE** **NOT STREET LEGAL** Date: 04/09/2022 12:00 PM Video 1: Video 2: Video 3: Terms and conditions CONTRACTS There is no rescission, revocation, or canceling of bids.
