This 1959 Custom Apache "Shotgun" pickup underwent a complete professional restoration with a shotgun/Western theme throughout. It features a custom shotgun drawer that slides out from under the seat at the press of a button. Power comes from a 327ci Corvette V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine compartment features a one-off custom engine cover. Stopping is handled by power-assisted Wilwood calipers, 6-piston in front and 4-piston in back, clamping on drilled and slotted rotors. The custom leather interior has a matching leather dashboard and door panels, leather trim and brushed metal trim, hand-tooled fixtures, a tilt steering column and air conditioning. The 20-inch front and 22-inch rear brushed aluminum wheels match the exterior trim's brushed metal theme. The shotgun theme extends throughout the truck and includes shotgun shell-style center caps on the wheels and door handles as well as one in the center of the gauge cluster. There's also a leather pistol holster mounted to the steering column. Additional features include leather-wrapped rear bumper step, leather tailgate straps and leather battery cover. The bed is finished in oak with stainless strip fasteners. Other features include power steering and an aluminum gas tank relocated under the bed.
