This matching numbers 1970 Chevrolet Camaro SS custom coupe nicknamed "Louise" is the recipient of a rotisserie restoration and is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine paired to a rebuilt Muncie 4 -speed manual transmission with the original factory 12-bolt rear end. Equipped with new OEM springs, OEM sway-bar, new stainless steel gas tank, new ball joints, new OEM stainless steel brake lines and new brake hardware kit. In addition, the harness has been replaced with an American Autowire wiring harness and a custom Flowmaster exhaust system has been installed supplied by the Hooker long tube headers. During the restoration, the vehicle was stripped to bare metal and primed in four different areas and finished in Pearl Blue while the entire frame, undercarriage and suspension parts were painted in Porsche Silver while the drivetrain was finished in a high heat gold flake paint. The custom body features the quarter panels fade into the doors, new glass, handles, new side mirrors, gaskets, weather seals and trim. The Black and Porsche Silver interior was also taken to bare steel before being modernized with a new OEM dash pad, Electronic Thunder Road gauge kit, OEM interior panels, door handles, steering column and interior trim that matches the undercarriage and exterior stripes. The shifting knob has been painted Blue Pearl with silver paint in the pattern and Hurst logo. The trunk has also been modernized with a custom-fitted carpet and panels.
