This one-off custom-built 1965 Ford Mustang convertible underwent a complete professional restoration and Pro-Touring build with modern technology added throughout. Power comes from a new Gen 2 5.0-liter Coyote engine mated to a T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. The Pro-Touring treatment includes a complete Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame front clip equipped with tubular control arms, JRI coilovers, and power rack & pinion steering. Out back there's a Detroit Speed 4-link Quadralink holding a 9-inch rear end in place. It also features Detroit Speed mini tubs and frame connectors for added chassis rigidity. Stopping power comes from Wilwood power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. The engine breathes through stainless steel headers connected to a custom stainless exhaust system using Borla mufflers and resonators. All-new sheet metal has been installed and professionally finished in Candy Apple Red. It also has a new black cloth power convertible top, all new chrome and glass, Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges and baffled fuel tank. The underside is finished with a commercial spray-on bed liner for durability. The custom white leather pony interior features heated seats, Ididit steering column, Vintage Air climate-control system using electronic retrofit controls, Dakota Digital VHX gauges and a custom sound system with Rockford Fosgate amps and speakers. It rides on 17-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires, 285/40 in the rear and 245/40 upfront. It has earned a Goodguys Top 10 Builder's Choice award, has 600 test miles since completion and includes a complete build binder.
