Long Description: This 1970 Chevrolet Nova known as "Super Nova" was built by JRi for the 2017 SEMA Show. This no-expense-spared build is powered by an LS3 650hp V8 engine backed by a Stage 7 4L60 automatic transmission. The complete suspension has been done by Detroit Speed; it has their Hydro-Formed subframe with upper and lower control arms, and the rear is a 9-inch 4-link setup with mini-tubs making room for some larger tire combos. There are 6-piston Baer brakes all around with 14-inch rotors for maximum stopping power. The interior has all been modified, from its beautiful dash with gauges to its center console. There are TMI seats with a Vintage Air climate-control unit in place of the factory heater box, and the car also has a Flaming River steering column, power windows, Lokar shifter and a full roll cage front to back. The stereo is a Kenwood unit, and right under it is the JRi adjustable suspension screen that allows you to adjust the coilovers. Detroit Speed also provided the three-piece 18-inch forged wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Rival tires — 315/30-18 in the rear and 275/35-18 in the front.
