Long Description: Comprehensively restored two-owner 1966 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster with 25,024 actual miles that has just completed a 2.5-year restoration. This vehicle has a 170/105hp 6-cylinder engine as well as its original frame. Only 4,090 U13s were made for the 1966 model year. VIN research has found this to be a late first-week or early second-week Budd-built rig with many unique features. Budd Co. made 200 of these U13s for Ford between August and October 1965, with this being one of the earliest. Several sources estimate that there are few of these rigs left, with less being registered and road-worthy. The original District Sales Office for this vehicle was in Florida, so the heater was deleted when ordered. This vehicle was also built without a radio option. Two options that were included are the windshield mount rearview mirror and the rear bench seat. Several additional unique original parts include but are not limited to the eyebrow grille, "Product of Ford" horn button, driver's side air vent box, dash pad, rear bench seat, wheel covers and bumpers. The roll cage and bikini top were added by the previous owner but maintained for the convenience of modern-day driving enjoyment. The drivetrain was reconditioned and is powered by a 170ci, 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission on the column, and the exterior and engine bay of the vehicle was repainted in the stock Caribbean Turquoise color. The multiple 4x4 modes function as intended and require the use of manual front locking hubs.
