Finished in Tuxedo Black, this custom 1977 Chevrolet Scottsdale pickup nicknamed "Kong," underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration with a 4x4 conversion. It is powered by a rebuilt Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor backed by a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with a Chevrolet raised letter valve cover, Optima Performance dry cell battery, billet aluminum 12-bolt differential covers, Hurst transfer case shifter, power steering, power brakes as well as long tube headers with a Gibbons exhaust and Aero stainless-steel mufflers. It rides on a full custom suspension that features a Skyjacker 6-inch lift, 4-corner Superlift dual shock absorbers, Cal Tracks rear link system, super lift dual steering dampeners and Warren locking front hubs. The exterior features RPR side steps, a cowl induction hood, KC Daylighter off-road lights, new chrome and a custom grille as well as a fully restored oak wood truck bed with chrome inserts. Additional features include power windows, custom steering wheel with tilt, full Grizzly chrome roll bar, restored interior, chrome gas cap, sliding rear window, factory instrumentation with custom tachometer and new carpet. It rolls on Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels with monster Mickey Thompson Baja AT2 LT 375/65/R16 tires.
