Nicknamed "The Krakken" is a complete custom-built 2006 GMC K1500 powered by a 390ci LSX custom-built engine backed by a Jakes Performance Stage 5 6L80 built automatic transmission. Equipped with diamond custom pistons, Callies custom 6.125 piston rods, Jessel rocker arms, LSX cylinder heads, Manley intake valves, Ferrea exhaust valves, LS1 247/251 comp cam, Wilson custom manifold with high flow fuel rails, sixteen ID1700 fuel injectors, Holley high-performance ram EFI manifold, 94mm GT55 turbo, GM Whipple front heat exchanger for turbo, Meziere electric water pump for turbo intercooler, boost controller, AFE high-performance air filter, LS Maxx Schumann oil pan, LSX chrome serpentine kit, Dirty Dingo engine mounts, water injection cooling kit, XL capacity high-performance radiator, high-performance engine cooling fans, Mechman Racing high amp alternator, 417 Motorsports intercooler, MSD LSX high torque starter, SFI flexplate, Flex A Lite transmission cooler, single-pass heat sink cooler kit (aux. trans cooler), GM EZ TCU trans controller, trans brake, ECM is an Infinity Computer System by AEM with layover harness. Under the truck, you will find a reinforced frame with Pro-Series rear-end wishbone, RJ Race Cars 9-inch rear end including links, bars, shocks, and springs as well as a custom fabricated stainless steel dual exhaust with 4-inch QTP electric cutout Y-Pipe with fob, and MagnaFlow mufflers. The front brakes are Wilwood 6-piston calipers with slotted rotors, rear brakes are Strange twin caliper 4-piston drag brakes. Additionally, there are customized dual fuel tanks to hold both 93 octane and 125+ octane race fuel both with separate internalized Aeromotive fuel pumps. The Camel suede interior features Corbeau Baja XRS race seats, customized dash with HR tuning prototype digital dash display and digital MAF display, nitrous switch, 10 position performance power switch, complete custom console with B&M pistol grip shifter, an upgraded audio system, and a custom-built black powder coated roll cage with locking swivel arms to ensure easy access and exit. A custom-built truck like this would only be complete with an STS 430 parachute size 32 with a pilot chute and Mickey Thompson street tires as well as a set of drag slicks for the track with Billet Specialty Drag Wheels. Total time on the entire Krakken is less than 10 hours.
