Long Description: This custom-built 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 convertible is powered by an upgraded supercharged 3.2-liter V6 AMG engine mated to a Mercedes 6-speed manual transmission. All interior parts were replaced with SRT parts including the factory suede seats and 200mph SRT gauge cluster. The A-pillar trims were wrapped in gray Alcantara suede to match the seats, as well as the inner door trim, and the upper inside windshield trim were dyed gray to complete the monotone interior transformation. The exterior radio antenna was shaved in a reversible manner and relocated centrally between the factory roll-bars. The original radio was replaced with a modern Bluetooth/XM ready unit, Infinity components in the doors and Kicker Comp RT subs behind the seats. A clear wind deflector was added. The complete rear end, brakes and differential are now SRT with 3.06 gears. A brand-new LUK clutch was placed before dropping in the SRT/AMG 3.2-liter supercharged 349hp V6 and supporting cooling assembly with a custom aluminum intake. It also is equipped with rebuilt and replaced front suspension, shocks and steering components. Factory headlights were sanded down, painted on eyebrows added as well as LED high/low beams and fogs. Factory SRT forged aluminum staggered wheels were powder coated gloss black and wrapped in Nitto 555G2 tires. The Crossfire was built using a Mercedes-Benz drivetrain from the factory that was assembled at the Karmann plant in Germany. All U.S. production SRT-6's were equipped with automatic transmissions.
