Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis custom 1956 Plymouth Fury had the chassis built by Delsid Chassis and Exhaust. The engine, a special-order from High Desert Engines in Arizona, is an all-new 584ci all-aluminum HEMI with dual 4-barrel carburetors, and puts out 850hp on pump gas - the same motor found in a Pro Stock drag car. The transmission is a built 727 TorqueFlite linked to a stout driveline with a narrowed Dana 60 rear end. The front brakes were changed to full disc with an electric power boost compressor. The steering is a rack & pinion and rides on Center Line racing wheels with Hoosier Pro Street tires in the rear and Bridgestone tires in the front. The body was blasted, then sheet metal work was done by Rat and Tim Fabrication. After hours of bodywork done by The Big Guy Body Shop, the Deep Blue Metallic paint was applied, then the flames were added and clear-coated. The upholstery was done by Mario's Upholstery with blue leather and special fur-type insets. The trunk is fully upholstered with graphics, and features carpet, battery case and fuel cell. All electric switches and controls are in the center console for a clean look.
