Originally built in 1969, this two-owner 1966 VW-based Dune Buggy is a step back to a simpler time. It still retains its original configuration, with the removable hardtop, VW low back seats and shortened chassis. All front-end suspension components have been replaced and adjusted. The vehicle was upgraded with a later-model dual port 1641cc engine with a new carburetor, new alternator and battery, new wiring harness, all new brakes (including master and wheel cylinders and all brake lines), new tires on vintage Shelby slotted mags and new paint.
