This 1968 Chevelle SS 396 big-block with 138 VIN is finished in new paint similar to the factory color, and has a new interior and chromework. It was built as a great driving Pro-Street car powered by an era/year-correct built 1968 396ci engine, Edelbrock intake, 1968 360hp 2-bolt, standard bore short-block, 10 3/4:1 cast dome pop-ups, oval port high-compression heads, Delta (Seattle) hydraulic camshaft 536/106CL/292, backed by a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission with a B&M shift kit, lock-up stall converter and tubbed Dana 60 ring & pinion at 4.56 ratio differential. This car runs on pump gas, rides on custom Cragar wheels with Mickey Thomspon street-strip tires in the rear, and features Wilwood front disc brakes and master/booster, with a 3-inch header exhaust, custom stereo and speakers, factory bucket seats, aluminum core custom radiator.
