Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis custom 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Shelby "Tribute" coupe was built to honor Carroll Shelby in 2002. This car was professionally restored with one thing in mind, and that was to attend the special Shelby 289 Invitational at Carrol Shelby's ranch in Pittsburgh, TX. The car went through a complete cosmetic restoration in 2002, where no expense was spared to create an amazing coupe that Carroll Shelby himself admired and autographed on the hood. The car was stripped to the bare metal and began a 2-year build that included complete paint and bodywork. It has an all-new pony interior, including custom trunk work and a sound system. A custom-built 289ci V8 engine that was bored .060 over, a Ford motorsports .500 lift cam with 300 duration, 1.6 roller rockers, ported and polished heads, flat-top pistons, chrome Hooker headers, 2.5-inch exhaust with X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers and a brand-new 625 AFB carburetor. The original C4 automatic transmission was rebuilt with performance upgrades. Rebuilt rear differential with 3.50 locking gears. The underside of the car looks brand-new with beautiful gloss paint. This car was featured in two magazine articles and a photograph of Carroll Shelby himself signing the hood of the car, which will go to the new owner. **TITLED AS 1966 FORD SPECON** **TITLE IN TRANSIT** **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** Date: 01/27/2023 11:00 AM Video 1: Video 2: Video 3: Terms and conditions CONTRACTS There is no rescission, revocation, or canceling of bids.
