Has a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.70 gears and 31-spline axles, and the subframe connectors have been welded in for strength. Long Description: This custom 1969 Shelby GT 500 re-creation is powered by a Speed Logic 427ci (351W stroker) with 550hp engine equipped with a custom drive belt system Holley Sniper fuel system along with a Holley in-tank pump system, custom radiator with dual electric fans, custom exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. The transmission is a T56 6-speed transmission from American Powertrain along with their hydraulic clutch setup. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch with 3.70 gears and 31-spline axles. Subframe connectors have been welded in for strength. Rear leaf springs are single composite with new shocks all around. This Shelby was taken down to bare metal and finished in Competition Orange paint with ceramic coating, and the chrome was all redone. It rolls on American Racing wheels and stopping power is provided by Wilwood brakes front and rear. The interior is all new with custom wiring throughout, featuring custom Speed Hut gauges, factory tiltaway steering wheel, factory fold-down rear seat, a Vintage Air Gen IV system and RetroSound radio with four speakers installed for great tunes. The rebuild included the drivetrain, exhaust, wiring, gauges, interior and major assembly, and tuning was done by Vintage Motorsport out of North Haven, CT.
