This custom 1965 Ford Mustang fastback received a professional restoration and modern upgrades from M&R Restorations out of Wisconsin. It is a fresh build completed in December 2022 and has test miles only. The goal was to build a show car while adding modern technology for improved drivability. Power comes from a 302ci complete roller engine with aluminum heads, intake, MSD Atomic EFI and ignition system, CVF serpentine belt system and ceramic headers. A TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission sends power to the 4.11 posi-traction gears in the rear axle. Cooling is provided by a big-block aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The front suspension is a complete custom coilover strut system mated with a TCI torque arm coilover rear suspension. This Mustang also has Borgeson power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes. The exterior is finished in custom blue paint sprayed over a laser-straight body. The bottom of the car is also show-quality detailed and is painted body color. The custom interior features Procar bucket seats with matching rear seats. The deluxe doors, center console, one-piece headliner, Shelby GT350 floor mats and rear fold-down seat all complement each other. The Dakota Digital instrumentation monitors all the engine systems and there's also an added dash-mounted Shelby tachometer. A Vintage Air under-dash system keeps the interior comfortable. A RetroSound radio with Bluetooth provides music and hands-free calling. The dual exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers has a nice rumble. This custom Mustang rides on 17-inch Shelby-style wheels wrapped in Nitto tires.
