Long Description: This custom 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a new LS7 427ci 570hp Corvette engine with 540 ft/lbs of torque, connected to a 4L75E automatic transmission. The Coffman C7 chassis includes power rack & pinion steering, fully adjustable ride height and RideTech coilovers. The braking power is provided by Wilwood, with stainless-steel brake lines. The engine is cooled by a custom-built aluminum DeWitt radiator finished in satin black. The stainless-steel fuel tank is built by Rick's Tanks. The paint was stripped off the body with the plastic-media-blasting method, and the body is finished with Duratech Vinylester primer topped with an Axalta Silver Sage base coat/clear coat. This Resto-Mod includes a full leather Oyster-color interior. A Vintage Air system handles interior heating and cooling. The car was upgraded with an electric-actuated hood opener and a Bluetooth AM/FM Wonder Bar radio. For safety, LED headlights and taillights were added. The frame is powder-coated. The interior floor, firewall and underside are finished with LizardSkin ceramic color-coating for sound and heat control. The car rides on custom Schott wheels wrapped with Nitto NT555 tires. The project was completed in November 2022, with over 1,500 hours invested in the build.
