Long Description: This custom 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod convertible received a professional restoration and Pro-Touring build. Its foundation is a powder-coated Street Shop chassis equipped with C4 independent front and rear suspension and coilovers. Power comes from a modern 5.7-liter Chevrolet LS engine with an aluminum radiator with two electric fans and ceramic-coated headers feeding a stainless-steel rear-exit dual-exhaust system paired with a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is courtesy of a Hydratech Hydro-Boost power-assisted disc brake system. Keeping with the original look but adding modern amenities, this Pro-Tourer also has power steering, a Flaming River steering column, a Vintage Air system, contemporary Wonder Bar-style radio with a trunk-mounted JVC 12-disc CD changer and two fire extinguishers. This Corvette is finished in Venetian Red with a red hardtop over a red interior and rides on 16-inch stock-looking wheels wrapped in classic wide whitewall tires.
