This 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has been freshly restored to mimic the "Smokey and the Bandit" movie car. It is powered by its original rebuilt 400ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor. It has received new paint, a new interior, correct graphics and plates. The air conditioning works and has been upgraded to R134a freon and a new heater core was installed. The suspension is new with Hotchkis springs and Bilstein shocks. It has received larger 17-inch snowflake wheels. It features a new RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth capabilities and USB/Aux port but retains its classic, original looks. A working NOS Cobra CB radio completes the package, and the trunk-mounted antenna is magnetic for easy removal. A performance exhaust was also added, but this car retains factory dual tips.
