This original 1949 Triumph 2000 TDA Saloon nicknamed "Razor Edge" was built in Coventry, England, with a Mulliners of Birmingham body. It is powered by a matching-numbers reconditioned Vanguard 2088cc 4-cylinder engine with Solex carburetor paired with a 3-speed on the column fully synchronized manual transmission. The steel frame rides on independent suspension with solid axle with leaf springs at rear, and the body panels of sheet aluminum are supported by an ash wood frame. Stopping power is provided by hydraulic brakes with 9-inch drums. The body was repainted in British Shadow Gray over a new burgundy leather upholstery done in the early 1990s with all-original parts as needed. The car was fully serviced within the last two years.
