This 1968 Ford Mustang is an official licensed and certified Eleanor Tribute Edition build, with the genuine Eleanor certification paperwork, Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems issued by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC. This Resto-Mod conversion was fully reconditioned and rotisserie-restored, with every nut and bolt on this car new. It features all the movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories, including the side-exit dual exhaust and the wired, non-operational, Go-Baby-Go NOS armed dash switch, Eleanor nitrous bottle and shifter knob. Underneath the domed Eleanor hood sits a modern Ford 5.0-liter Coyote fuel-injected aluminum-block engine with a 2.5-inch throaty exhaust that exits through the side rockers, a performance aluminum radiator and an electric fan. This powerplant is mated to a TREMEC TKX 5-speed manual transmission. This vehicle was designed to blend Eleanor styling with updated and modern suspension. Almost all the original suspension was replaced with modern technology. The all-new chassis assembly includes an upgraded 4-link rear suspension and Mustang 2 rack & pinion steering in the front. Both the front and rear are equipped with custom air-ride equipment to adjust the ride height with the flip of a switch in the cabin. It is equipped with electric-assist power steering and stopping power is provided by Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. This Eleanor is professionally finished in Pepper Gray Metallic 2-stage PPG exterior paint with rich black Rally body stripes and multiple layers of clear coat over the top. The underside of this Eleanor and the engine compartment areas are painted in the body color with coats of clear to allow it to be wiped down with ease. The overall body gaps and alignment are laser-straight, and the scoops and custom body modifications were hand-fitted for 90-degree seams. Everything on this vehicle is Eleanor-correct, right down to the proper sequential taillights, bullet-style side-view mirror and Eleanor-style flip-up gas-filler lid. It is equipped with ice-cold vintage-styled modern air conditioning and an electric trunk release. Its all-new deluxe interior features custom seats and a custom center console with stainless-steel billet trim on the dash and on the door panels. The rear area is equipped with a matching factory-style fold-down seat with the NOS bottle located behind it. This vehicle also has a custom-painted roll bar with a seatbelt harness. The dash cluster is fitted with brand-new retro-styled modern Velocity gauges and a custom wood-styled vintage steering wheel. Sound is provided by a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. All the accessories, gauges and lighting, including the front blue driving lights and fog lights, operate and function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. This vehicle also features custom LED lighting in the engine area and cabin, with exterior ground effects. It is equipped with two 12-volt batteries and is rolling on custom Eleanor-style wheels with performance tires. Also included in the sale is a 30x40-inch professionally assembled "Gone in 60 Seconds" framed presentation of the official movie poster, along with an authentic, officially signed photos of the lead cast members, Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.
