This 2019 Ford GT was ordered through Galpin Ford, Van Nuys, CA, and was optioned with the $70,000 Lightweight Package. The car is finished in Liquid Gray (a $5,000 option) with a carbon and Alcantara suede interior. Its 647hp and 550 ft/lbs of torque comes from a mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transaxle. The car is wrapped in paint protection film, ceramic coated and fitted with a windshield protection film ($10,000 value). Braking is handled by red-painted Brembo 6-piston mono-block calipers over 15.5-inch carbon-ceramic discs up front, while 4-piston calipers are mounted over 14.1-inch units out back. The interior is optioned with the Carbon Package, and the Sparco carbon-fiber seats are trimmed in black Alcantara upholstery with contrasting silver stitching. Exposed carbon fiber is visible on the door sills, dashboard, center console and seat backs. The fixed-position driver's seat is paired with an adjustable pedal box and steering column, and amenities include air conditioning and an infotainment system with a touchscreen. The lightweight Alcantara-wrapped multi-function steering wheel flaunts paddle shifters and a digital instrument panel with multiple information settings.
