Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis 1965 Ford Mustang is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote engine from a modern Mustang GT with over 400hp and 400 ft/lbs of torque. This engine features modern fuel injection and engine management systems with a stainless-steel exhaust with Borla mufflers and resonators. It has a complete Detroit Speed aluma-frame front clip, tubular control arms, JRI coilovers and a power rack & pinion steering system. In the rear, a Detroit Speed QUADRALink suspension supports a Ford 9-inch axle, while Detroit Speed mini-tubs accommodate the extra-wide 285-section rear tires that sit around a set of American Racing wheels. Frame connectors have been added to boost the rigidity of the convertible's frame, and a set of power Wilwood disc brakes ensure reliable stopping power. The custom white pony-style leather interior features heated seats and an adjustable Ididit steering column, as well as a Vintage Air system with original-looking controls and Dakota Digital gauges. This Mustang was honored with a Top 10 Builders Choice award from the renowned Goodguys Hot Rod Show.
