Nicknamed "Pretty Penny," this custom 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne is powered by a 348/420hp V8 engine paired with a Keisler RS500 5-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a Zoom performance clutch and pressure plate, MSD ignition, Steve Long Racing solid-lifter cam, 9.6:1 Comp pistons, Edelbrock 409 large-port aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, a Holley 750 double-pumper carburetor and custom PML valve covers. This car rides on a Hotchkis suspension with front and rear sway bars, 2-inch drop spindles, QA1 shocks and a Ford 9-inch posi-traction rear end with 31-spline axle. In addition, it has a custom cowl plenum air cleaner, 605 power steering, power brake booster, 4-wheel power disc brakes, stainless brake lines and a Be Cool aluminum radiator. Finished in the two-tone colors of bronze and black, "Pretty Penny" received all new bezels and emblems, tinted glass and has a custom performance dual exhaust. This car rides on polished 5-spoke alloy wheels. Complementing the exterior, the interior has tri-tone seating and features a Vintage Air system, custom door panels, chrome gauge cluster, SS console with a spaghetti shifter, two-tone steering wheel, solid-state tachometer conversion and all-new Painless wiring throughout. Sound is provided by a custom Classics Stereo with rear pod speakers and an amplifier in the custom-lined trunk.
