This Jade Black 1969 Boss 429 Mustang was finished in Dearborn, MI, in June 1969, was assigned KK #1985 and sold new at Arrow Ford in Abilene, TX. The engine is an original 429ci with an original oil-cooler setup paired with its original matching-numbers close-ratio 4-speed transmission, original transmission ID tag (RUG AE2-018831) and original engine ID tag. This car retains the original 3.91 Traction-Lok differential. This recently rotisserie-restored car also has its original sheet metal and a mostly original interior consisting of seat covers, door panels, console and rim blow steering wheel. Original components consist of carburetor-list 4456-date 953, original distributor, alternator, water pump, starter, radiator, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, brake drums, brake calipers, brake rotors, power booster, master cylinder, air cleaner and original dated Boss 9 Magnum 500 wheels. The car's options include a remote mirror, trunk light, competition suspension, power steering, power brakes and functional hood scoop. Purchased on April 8, 1970, by Udo Libigs, it was a dealer demo. Libigs owned it until 2018, making it a two-owner car. Along with its original door tag and Kar Kraft tag, it retains its original bumpers and stainless replated and polished by Librandi's Plating. The car has a red oxide undercarriage, correct smog system, date-coded glass, working AM radio, correct Goodyear F60-15 Polyglas tires, and the original spare and jack.
