This custom Hogan Built 1970 Chevrolet K10 factory short-bed pickup is powered by a GM Performance crate 525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine mated to a Hughes 4L80 transmission and an Atlas transfer case. The aluminum block is refinished in its classic Hugger Orange and features a Holley intake topped with a 14-inch air cleaner. To finish off the nostalgic look, the Chevrolet valve covers have been installed with hidden coil packs. Fueling this truck is a Boyd 24-gallon aluminum tank with a custom cradle. This K10's chassis is equipped with Fox 2.5-inch coilovers, hydraulic bump stops and crossover steering. Under the truck there is a fully polished 3-inch TIG-welded stainless-steel exhaust paired with MagnaFlow mufflers. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes backed by a CPP hydro-boost. To tie it all together, the body, chassis and engine are wired with an American Autowire harness that was professionally installed. This pickup was completely sand-blasted, metal-worked and body-worked, and is finished in its original special-ordered Surf Green color code, sprayed over Ferrari Bianco White. Hand-laid gold leaf divides the two colors and outlines the "Chevrolet" across the tailgate. The truck rolls on a set of 17-inch KMC beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. All holes welded were smoothed, custom crossmembers were made and the frame is boxed for strength. It is topped with a high-gloss black powder coat. This pickup is equipped with Altman door latches, a stained wood bed floor and all-new trim. Look closely and you will find Tiki gods through the lower moldings and into the interior, which also features a 60-inch bench seat with Snowden foam, wrapped in stunning teak upholstery. Keeping the dash classic are Classic Instrument gauges and a contour steering wheel made specifically for this truck. The comfort level is kept perfect with a Vintage Air system. The audio system is powered by a RetroSound head unit with custom speaker panels that hold two 6.5-inch components and two 10-inch subwoofers. Dubbed "High Tide," this truck is the newest Hogan Built creation showcasing their concours-quality reputation.
