Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer received a professional frame-off restoration and custom build by Artistic Customs in Jasper, Oregon. Thousands of hours went into this no-expense-spared unique build. The body was acid-dipped and then finished in Boxwood Green with a Synergy White bottom stripe, over a laser-straight body, along with metalwork and bodywork that show the result of a show-stopping refinish. This fully custom K5 is powered by a new GM Performance 495hp LS3 crate engine for better low-end torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with a transfer case. Underneath, the suspension features Fox Racing shocks and a 4-inch lift above 295/70R18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T tires mounted on 18-inch Detroit Steel Delray Wheels, with original center caps and steel beauty rings. Stopping is handled by a Classic Performance Hydrastop braking system. To further this one-of-a-kind build, it has a full custom leather interior and stitching, created by award-winning Jon Lind. To help set this Blazer apart, there is hand-laid Ochre pinstriping through the classic trim and within the wood grain on the tailgate. The chassis was completely restored as well; welding and reworking the holes and painted in black. The engine bay and firewall were custom-fabricated, and the fuel tank is from Tanks, Inc. Additionally, it has Vintage Air with hidden plumbing, and a hidden fuel-filler door that was custom-fabricated into the driver's-side rear marker light. Dakota Digital Instruments sit above a painted Flaming Rover tilt steering column. More adds include LT1-swept-back headers in satin finish by Ultimate Headers, Holley aluminum LS valve covers, high-output ignition coils, a custom TIG-welded exhaust system, billet hood hinges and a Performance Rod & Custom aluminum radiator to keep things cool. The dash, console and door panels are wrapped in custom leather and stitching to complete the look. This K5 also comes with a completely restored hardtop, finished in white. This show-quality build was done with the best available parts and the highest level of attention to detail.
