Long Description: This beautiful 1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 convertible has had the exterior cosmetically refreshed and finished in Dark Blue Metallic, with a blue convertible top and tonneau cover, as well as wire wheels. The interior features a 2+2 seating arrangement and is finished in new Navy Blue vinyl upholstery with gold piping on the seats, a wood-rim steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation, wood dash and grille badging. The workmanship put into cosmetically refreshing this eye-catching car is definitely something to note. The colors complement the angles and lines of the Healey extremely well, along with allowing the bright chrome accents to really shine. Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys, with a walnut-veneered dash, wind-up windows and a 150bhp engine, giving a top speed of 121 mph. Improvements to the engine included a new camshaft, valve springs and twin SU carburetors, together with a new design of exhaust system. Servo-assisted brakes were now fitted as standard along with a 4-speed manual transmission and with the optioned overdrive.
