Long Description: This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS convertible is comprehensively restored, highly detailed throughout and is documented with three-ownership history. It is powered by a fully rebuilt, correct 396/325hp engine backed by a M40 Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a 12-bolt 3.07-ratio posi-traction rear end. It is equipped with factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The exterior features a body refinished in an original Matador Red, with front and rear bumper guards, a white convertible top and red boot. The car rides on 14-inch Rally wheels with red line tires. The interior features the correct red vinyl upholstery, a tilt steering column, Tic-Toc-Tach, a center console with gauges and standard Delco AM radio. The three-owner history shows it was delivered new to the Chevrolet zone office in Atlanta, GA, and assigned to a GM executive on June 26, 1968, as a demonstrator and driven for approximately 2.5 months. The first retail sale was on August 16, 1968, to an individual from Chamblee, GA, who owned it for 13 years; the second owner from Atlanta, GA, owned it 23 years; and the third owner of Vacaville, CA, owned it for 20 years.
