This unrestored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is powered by an original matching-numbers L34 SS 396/350hp engine paired with a matching-numbers factory 4-speed manual transmission. This Chevelle is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, factory performance suspension, cowl-induction hood and a 3.31 12-bolt rear axle. An inspection of the all-original undercarriage and chassis reveals the original steel panels, as well as non-undercoated floor pans exhibiting clean, dry original metal, as well as the frame in the same condition, with clean smooth original metal. The exterior is finished in an original 75-code Cranberry Red paint, with a factory black vinyl roof and still with original chrome. It also features an original 787-code red interior with a Hurst Shifter. The dash pad, seat upholstery, door panels and carpets are in like-new condition. Sold new at Paul Bailey Chevrolet in North Carolina, this Chevelle has never been taken apart and retains its original sheet metal.
