Crew cab molded into 20-foot trailer. Sits on P30 chassis with full air-ride suspension. Titled as 1948 Ford Specon. Sold on bonded title. Title in transit. Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis 1948 Ford COE custom motorhome is powered by a 454ci Chevrolet 8-cylinder engine bored .60 over with an RV camshaft, roller rockers, Sanderson headers and Holley sniper fuel injection. The engine is backed by a built Turbo 400 transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive and 4.10-gear rear end. This Ford COE started as a single cab that was stretched 10 inches behind the doors, with two rear doors added, turning it into a crew cab. It was then custom-grafted onto a 1962 20-foot Airstream trailer. The top of the cab is another 1948 Ford front window frame, chopped and sectioned to fit atop the original cab. The roof is hand-rolled and English-wheeled to fit back into the Airstream, with custom side windows added. The front fenders were converted to a single piece with handmade running boards and gas tank covers. The 1962 Airstream has been polished and has storage boxes built into it on the underside. It features an Onan generator, water, sewer, air conditioning, automatic steps with under-glow lighting and LED lighting throughout. The motorhome sits on a P30 chassis with full air-ride suspension, hydro-boost brakes and steering, and American racing wheels. The interior is finished with a Tobacco Leaf leather with billet inserts and German square-weave carpet. It has a modified dash with digital gauges, a Vintage Air system and an upper gauge compartment that holds a backup camera, stereo, air-ride and power window controls. The interior endcaps are polished copper, while the walls are finished in vertical-grain hickory. It also features walnut cabinetry with solid wood doors, LVP walnut flooring, solid surface countertops, and a gel-coated shower and toilet area. It took eight years and 10,000 hours of fabrication to create and complete this custom motorhome. The vehicle has been featured on the "Bitchin' Rides" TV shows and in the Goodguys magazine. **TITLED AS 1948 FORD SPECON** **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT** Date: 01/24/2025 6:00 PM Video 1: Video 2: Video 3: Terms and conditions CONTRACTS There is no rescission, revocation, or canceling of bids.
