This 1967 Shelby GT500 is one of just 2,048 built in 1967. This GT500 is finished in its original-born color of Nightmist Blue metallic with a black interior. It underwent a complete rotisserie restoration that was completed in December 2023 by SAAC Head Judge John Brown of Thoroughbred Restorations. Power comes from the 428ci Police Interceptor V8 engine with dual 4-barrel carburetors rated at 355hp, backed by a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission, just as it was built by Shelby American in 1967. The vehicle includes center-mounted high beams, hood pins, a fender-mounted antenna and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The wood-rimmed steering wheel is fitted with a Shelby horn button and frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,000-rpm redline. The original Stewart-Warner gauges indicating oil pressure and amperage are mounted beneath the center of the dashboard. It is equipped with deluxe Magstar wheels, shoulder harness, extra Cooling Package, Courtesy Light Group, sport deck rear seat, power disc brakes, power steering, Interior Decor Group, heavy-duty battery, tachometer and trip odometer.
