Long Description: DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATEDThis custom 1965 Chevy Bel Air Pro-Touring coupe is a complete custom build by Chris Cerce Customs out of Taunton, Massachusetts. Countless hours went into this no-expense-spared custom build. Powering this Pro-Touring Bel Air is a Chevrolet Performance ZZ572 V8 big block crate engine equipped with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection making 620 horsepower and 625 ft/lbs of torque. The power is transferred through a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission connected to a GM 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears. The engine breathes through custom headers connected to a 3-inch stainless exhaust system with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers. The Pro-Touring treatment starts with additional chassis bracing for improved rigidity and then fitted with Global West upper and lower control arms with matching 2-inch drop spindles, QA1 adjustable shocks at all four corners with the rear end held in place using a 4-link setup with panhard bar. Stopping is courtesy of a CPP Hydraboost system using a Baer master cylinder sending fluid through stainless lines to Baer six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers clamping on 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors at each corner. This custom Bel Air rides on 18-inch Billet Specialties Turbine wheels wearing low-profile Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Subtle custom exterior touches include narrowed and tucked one-piece bumpers, a one-off steel cowl hood incorporating a center section from a 1969 Camaro with extended reveal lines, a custom one-piece grille surround, and a hand-formed lower valance. The custom red bench seat interior has a stock dash updated with Dakota Digital instrumentation, a Billet Specialties steering wheel links to a Detroit Speed power steering box and a Painless Wiring kit was used throughout the car. Other upgrades include a Rick's stainless steel fuel tank, March Performance front pulley kit, Powermaster alternator and BeCool radiator. Finished in House of Kolor Black, it was featured in Modern Rodding Magazine.
