Long Description: This KK number 2075- 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 underwent a comprehensive restoration and is documented as an original Z-Code Boss 429 by its build sheet and Marti report. Finished in Grabber BIue and white it is one of 210 produced in that color combination and features a high back bucket seat interior. Power comes from a 429ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter and 3.91 Traction-Lok gearing in a 9-inch rear end Drag Pack. Equipped with an oil cooler, competition suspension with staggered rear shocks, power brakes, power steering, a trunk-mounted battery, front spoiler and 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. It is also equipped with aluminum hemispherical cylinder heads and Holley 4-barrel carb topped by an air cleaner that ducted cooler outside air from the huge hood scoop. Like all Boss 429s, KK No. 2075 started life as a stripped-down 1970 Mustang Fastback at Ford's Dearborn Assembly Plant before being delivered to Kar Kraft. Ford's contracted performance shop in Brighton, MI for engine installation and final assembly. Fitting the massive big block engine required widening the engine compartment, which was achieved by modifying the shook towers. By producing a limited number of Boss 429s in 1969 and 1970, Ford legalized the engine for its aerodynamic NASCAR Torino Talledegas and Cyclone Spoiler ll.
