Powered by a 427ci engine refreshed by B+B Engines out of Appleton, WI, mated to a rebuilt original GM Muncie 4-speed transmission with a new 10.5 Hayes clutch. New GM shocks were installed front and rear. Long Description: This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO re-creation was completely stripped, blasted where needed and prepped for its complete rotisserie restoration. After being on the rotisserie for six months, the body was painted code 72 Hugger Orange. It was now ready for its completely restored subframe, including all front and rear end suspension parts, all of which were blasted, primed and painted the correct colors for a premium restoration. It is powered by a 427ci engine refreshed by B+B Engines out of Appleton, WI, and mated to a rebuilt original GM Muncie 4-speed transmission with a new 10.5 Hayes clutch. A new Hurst 4-speed shifter and rear end with 4.10 gears were installed, along with a new Moser 12-bolt posi-traction and a new driveshaft built by Driveline Services out of Green Bay, WI. The exhaust was updated to a completely original-style chambered exhaust, down to original COPO-style tailpipes. It has original-style exhaust manifolds with an original replacement smog emission system. The intake is an original Winters with a new COPO replacement carburetor. Fine Lines supplied all the OE brake lines, while Summit Racing provided the OE-style power brakes and master cylinder. New GM shocks were installed front and rear. The car is rolling on 15-inch COPO wheels with new COPO replacement hubcaps wrapped in new Coker Goodyear wide-tread tires. A heavy-duty radiator was installed, along with all OE-style GM hose replacements. Additional features include a special induction hood, D-80 Spoiler Package and a radio/heater delete. This re-creation has 50 test miles on it since restoration was complete.
