This custom 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is the recipient of a recent rotisserie restoration. It is powered by a high-performance 429ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor paired with a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear end. This Mustang is equipped with a stainless dual H-pipe exhaust, stainless mufflers, a hydraulic clutch and March pulley system. It rides on a custom suspension that includes coilover adjustable front shocks, tubular control arms and a performance sway bar, and stopping power is provided by 2-wheel disc brakes with drilled and vented rotors with rear drum brakes. The car is finished in Candy Apple Red, and the exterior features Shelby Cobra script and Shelby hood stripes with a white convertible top. The interior features bucket seats with a custom console featuring drink holders, power steering and a custom Shelby steering wheel. This Mustang rolls on correct Shelby wheels.
