This 1957 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery is one of 92 glass-sided Sedan Deliveries built in this model year. It is powered by a 283/270hp engine with a Carter dual-quad carburetor and correct batwing air cleaner assembly, paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a completely rebuilt drivetrain, as well as all-new suspension, brakes and exhaust. The exterior is equipped with show-quality chrome, glass and trim, and it rides on correct 14-inch steel wheels and hubcaps wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply tires with a matching spare and jack assembly. The interior features radio delete, deluxe heater, restored instruments, new electrical and wiring, new rubber front floor covering, correctly restored cargo flooring, and all new and correct upholstery and headliner. This vehicle was produced at the Los Angeles, CA, plant during the second week of January and was sold to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This Sedan Delivery was found in Willows, CA, by Richard Siri of Santa Rosa, CA, who performed the spectacular rotisserie restoration. Nearly 200 photos of the restoration are included. The car has been awarded the Gold Certificate, scoring 988 points at the Bow-Tie Convention held in Ventura, CA, and has been featured in magazines that include Chevy Times and Classic Chevy World.
