Long Description: This custom 1958 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is built on a chassis from Paul Newman Car Creations. It is powered by a 465hp LT1 crate engine paired with a 4L65E transmission and a limited-slip Dana 44 with 3.32:1 gears. Under the electrically actuated hood, a Matson aluminum radiator and SPAL fan cool, while a Drive Junkie pulley system spins the accessories. A hydro-boost braking system provides stopping power. The compartment is clean, with wires and hoses smartly routed out of sight and engine covers painted in the matching body color. A Haartz Stayfast canvas top meets up with the smoked power windows. The red leather custom interior is from Al Knoch. Air conditioning, an Ididit steering column, Dakota Digital RTX gauges and clock, a RainGear wiper system and a Bluetooth stereo are also inside. The finished trunk features an Optima battery with both a disconnect switch and a charging port. The 18- and 19-inch chrome C7 Z06 wheels with Bridgestone red line rubber tie the Pearl White and Charcoal paint scheme with the red interior. This Corvette has been tested and driven for several hundred miles.
