Long Description: Built by Joe Clevenger, this 1958 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible showcases a Pro-Touring-style Resto-Mod professionally transformed into a fusion of classic aesthetics and modern performance. It is powered by a 2023 Chevrolet LT1 6.2-liter V8 engine generating 460hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. Additional highlights include power rack & pinion steering, a Rick's stainless-steel gas tank, Fragola Teflon fuel lines, catalytic converters and a factory-programmed GM wiring harness. This vehicle also boasts a 3-position electric-actuated hood and LED lighting throughout. Built on an Art Morrison chassis, it features a fully adjustable ride height and independent rear suspension. The body - entirely original and stripped using glass beads - is finished in a Rose Gold, enhanced by Oyster side coves and protected by a high-gloss, high-solids clearcoat. The undercarriage is coated with a black ceramic finish to effectively reduce noise and heat transfer, while the meticulously crafted engine bay and smoothed firewall enhance the overall refinement of the build. This custom Corvette is equipped with one-off wheels, combining classic design with a modern flair, featuring knock-off center nuts and Hankook Evo series white line tires. Inside, the restored convertible top in Oyster Stayfast material complements the luxurious Bourbon leather interior. The state-of-the-art audio system features a new stereo styled after the original 1958 Wonder Bar, complete with Bluetooth connectivity and a JL amplifier, subwoofer and speakers. It also features Dakota Digital RTX gauges with a tachometer that has been strategically repositioned 1.5-inches forward for optimal driver space. This Corvette has been driven approximately 100 miles since completion. The sale includes owner's manuals and documentation of the build process.
